All calls for heme/onc has already been made, per recruiter I just spoke with.

Did they say if they are still making calls for other units?....

Hi Everyone,

Good luck to those that have received calls so far! I just spoke with the recruiter asking if they were still making calls and she asked what my first choice was, which is PICU, and she said they haven't started making calls yet for that unit. probably next week. Did anyone receive a call for PICU?

I just called and spoke with a recruiter also about calls for 6 West and 6 East, She said they are still making calls for that unit. They are probably getting so many calls from us haha

You guys r awesome, thx for the updates. I might call to ask about the OR since no one following this tread appears to have picked that unit (which I'm hoping is a good thing) lol

Definitely stay positive! Good luck to PICU and OR applicants...sorry I only asked specifically for heme/onc as that's my 1st choice.

Did you get a call? I also applied to the hem/onc (1st choice) & oncology (2nd). Have you applied to other pediatric/onc programs?

No I didn't get a call unfortunately which was why I initiated the call to the recruiter who emailed me the packet. I wonder if several recruiters are making the calls? Not exactly sure how it really works. If that is the case, maybe the recruiter finished calling whoever she was in charge of (???)

I did apply to other pediatric programs. I did my preceptorship in ped acute med-surg, not specially peds oncology so idk if that would've made a difference. Recruiter couldn't say the criteria for selection..only said it was up to the managers to choose candidates.

I asked about the ED and she said that their still making calls but that we should know by the May 15. Made me feel like I will not be getting that call....oh well. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
