@MsRNAqueelah, I am graduating next Spring and am planning on applying to CHLA. Would you mind giving me some insight as to what you think made you stand out during the application process and/or possibly send me a copy of your cover letter?

Sure thing! Just give me your email address!

I'm currently in nursing school and this residency program looks amazing. I currently live in NC, does anyone know if that will be a disadvantage? Is anyone from out-of-state applying currently?

Specializes in ICU.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

Hi guys! I'm new to this whole blog posting but I've been following this string for a while now. Congrats to everyone who got the good phone call for the NICU positions!

I'm going for the hem/once unit too so I wanted to get in on this feedback to calm my nerves! @pedsnursepassion, when did you interview? I had mine yesterday afternoon and I've been glued to my phone since!!! How did you feel about the interview?

Hi peds.rn.onc I interviewed today! I was told I was the last interview and that they would be finalizing decisions today and sending them to HR. So hopefully we hear by tomorrow, I was told this week or next week in terms of knowing our status. I feel good about my interview, I think it went really well. How do you feel about yours?

Oh yay!!! I'm very excited that you completed your interview today. I'm also glad that you felt really good after your interview. I felt really good after my interview too - came out the huge smile on my face. This is such a huge accomplishment and opportunity for us! But I woke up this morning and stress started eating at me. Now I'm glued to my phone and freaking out.

I was told the same thing yesterday after the interview about when to expect a call but they told me that they may give us a call as early as today after the last interview. Good luck @pedsnursepassion!!! I know how badly we both want this and we are ready for it!

Got it!!! I will get that to you by the weekend! ;)

peds.rn.onc hear anything yet? I've been glued to my phone for the past couple of days but still nothing! I guess that means I won't know until Monday. No news is good news right????

Me neither!!!!! Not that we enjoy waiting in such anticipation but I'm glad no one has heard back yet. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday? Let's keep our fingers crossed @pedsnursepassion :)
