Where did you hear that they did 3 interviews? With my last time through this whole process I was only interviewed once, but skipped the HR interview. Most people I know who were hired had 2 interviews total.

maybe it's different for each unit. i had 4 classmates that interviewed for one of the ICUs.

How long was you letter of intent? mine came to two pages but i have my infomation and the hospitals information....
i kept mine to one page. now i'm thinking it was too short!
Thanks for the reply starghadder. did you have yours and Chla contact info on it. i am afraid mine is too long and they wont look at it.

I thought the letter of intent had to be no more than 500 words, correct? Double-spaced, that's about 1.5 pages, 1 page if single-spaced.

As long as it was less than 500 words, I don't think they really care how many pages it is... if you added hospital info, I think it's fine.
mine came out to two pages but the second one started with my conclusion or the "feel free to contact me at" blah blah blah. It was also less than 500 words but it included their address, to whom it may concern and the sincerely part lol.
Did anyone else leave their logo "Children's Hospital of LA" at the top of the letter of intent? i did. thats probably why mine was two pages. if i wouldn't have, it would have only been one page.

Mine was only a page with the logo left at the top too. I really didn't want to make it more than one page because I didn't want to risk them flying through these letters and skipping the last page or losing it.
I left the logo and instruction paragraph in, as well, since it left that blank place to put your primary unit.

I think that letter of intent was to be in 500 words or less describing why you selected the first choice of the unit. And then in cover letter I talked about my clinical experience and skills.
