CHLA RN Residency March 2016

Hey everyone, just started this thread to get to know more about you who is also applying to the CHLA residency program. I just checked the website and they're supposed to open applications very soon (at 5pm - Western time). What unit(s) are you considering? Is anyone applying with an International degree?

Haha hey! Good to talk to you again. They did tell me that when I asked them for a timeline, but I'm just so anxious to hear back that I couldn't wait till Wednesday to see if anyone heard back. haha. Here's to hoping that we hear good news tomorrow! *cheers

Derek, I applied to oncology as my first choice and bmt as my second. Good luck to you! My interview was only with two people.

I heard from heme/onc/bmt yesterday. I got an email saying I was not chosen for a second interview. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!

I applied to NICCU and was chosen for the speed interview. I asked them and they said they will finish pre-screening (10 minute speed interviews) applicants the end of this week. I know they screened on October 22, 23, 29, and 30. They will let those they've screened if they've gotten to the second round interviews by November 2. Good luck to everyone!

Mine is in the 9th at 11. It's going to be on the floor. How about yours? I can't wait! A bit nervous for an hour long interview, I don't think over ever had one for that long.

Mine is on the 9th as well at 0900! I can't wait either! I'm nervous as well but that is to be expected when interviewing for a dream job! I haven't had one for that long either haha.
