  1. Yeah, they're probably running a bit behind with the calendar. For the account setup the email looks something like the screenshot attached. Have you been checking your spam box? I also had issues with the login info they gave me so I called IT and they were able to help me out by the phone.
  2. I did not. So far I've only received the acceptance letter and the email to set up the account. Did you?
  3. Great idea ☺️ thanks for creating it!
  4. We have quite some time before school starts. What are y'all planning to do during this time? Also, does anyone know if Summer next year is the earliest we can take early online courses?
  5. Like others have said, don't loose hope! I would definitely try to touch base with them for some feedback and see if there's anything you can do to strengthen yourself and potentially increase your chances of getting in. I have gotten waitlisted in another school and apparently the main factor was because my stats course was 5+ years ago. Yay congratulations! Another classmate here ??‍♀️ woke up this morning and had to read the email again because I couldn't believe it haha
  6. Just read the email. Wait listed. Pretty sad. Congratulations to those who got in!!
  7. anyone remember faculty names whom were at the interview? I am trying to send out thank you emails but cannot recall all their names... I don't think all that are listed on the website were at the interview.
  8. On another note... Looking up online I've found numerous threads talking about a toxic culture at Rush. Anyone knows anything about that? It seems like a great program and is also highly ranked but I am a bit concerned after reading that many SRNAs had issues with bullying, competing for cases in clinicals and just toxic culture throughout. Thoughts?!
  9. Thanks for the advice! This year it will be in person. I wouldn't be surprised if they keep a similar structure. Looks like it will be a long day of presentations + interviews. I wonder if it is going to be mainly emotional/behavior or clinical...
  10. Hii there! Anyone starting the residency at CNMC in 2016? I got accepted at the 4 main unit to start in February... so exciting!! I would love to hear from experienced nurses that work(ed) there :)
  11. So, I just contacted them and the Letters of Recommendation don't have to be in a sealed envelop. It's OK to just have it in paper along with the other documents... yey! :)
  12. Hey Kayla, I'm also considering NICU or PICU :), and I'll also apply to UCLA. Not sure about USC, do you know when the application process starts? Best of luck to all of us!!
  13. Hello! So, I just called their office and apparently there was a problem with the website or something and they'll post the application tomorrow in the morning.
  14. Hey everyone, just started this thread to get to know more about you who is also applying to the CHLA residency program. I just checked the website and they're supposed to open applications very soon (at 5pm - Western time). What unit(s) are you considering? Is anyone applying with an International degree?
  15. Hi everyone. I'm a Brazilian nurse and I intend to work in the US, specifically in MD where I'll move to soon. Right now, I'm working on all my paperwork to send to CGFNS (transcripts, forms...) so I can get a Professional Report in order to take the NCLEX-RN. I graduated from Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT) and my question is: does anyone have any idea on the minimum hours/credits required in each subject from CGFNS form? And by the way, is it really necessary to have some hours on non-nursing subjects, which are in the form, such as: Art, History, Religion, Archaelogy and other. Thanks in advance!!
