CHLA RN Residency March 2016

Hey everyone, just started this thread to get to know more about you who is also applying to the CHLA residency program. I just checked the website and they're supposed to open applications very soon (at 5pm - Western time). What unit(s) are you considering? Is anyone applying with an International degree?

I got a call to do the Skype interview for their NICCU a few weeks ago!

I had my first interview too. 10 minutes is such a short time to try and make a good impression of yourself! This waiting game is killing me! D:

Mine was on the 23rd. Are you the one that I was talking to for a while before I went in for my interview?

What unit did you apply to, sowa? And congrats to you (and everyone else) who's made it this far!

Did anyone else have an interview with the whole unit, or was it only med/surg? Or is that just a sign that they really liked that candidate...?

Yes that was me! haha did they not mention to you when they would be calling? She told me at the very end that they would be calling by Wednesday for second interviews.

I think it might just be to that unit. I saw a post from someone else saying they too had an interview with a unit where they met with the whole unit as well. Was that your first interview?

Haha hey! Good to talk to you again. They did tell me that when I asked them for a timeline, but I'm just so anxious to hear back that I couldn't wait till Wednesday to see if anyone heard back. haha. Here's to hoping that we hear good news tomorrow! *cheers

Derek, I applied to oncology as my first choice and bmt as my second. Good luck to you! My interview was only with two people.
