I was just wondering who has applied to CHLA's residency this time around, and if you've heard anything back! The application was up during the first half of last week. Good luck to everyone! :)

Has anyone heard back from the Operating Room? I had my speed interview a while ago and haven't heard anything since!

I got a call this morning for 6West! I am planning on accepting the offer. I'm from the Bay Area and would love to meet people who will also be in the September Cohort/connect on FB. I may also be looking for a roommate or someone to share a 2 bedroom apt in LA with. Private message me if anyone is interested! Good Luck to those who haven't heard yet, hang in there!

Hi hmbRN. Do you know how many spots for 6w open? I had an interview 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything from them yet.

I had my interview on May 5th, so its been a little over three weeks for me too! I heard that they're hiring 6, but two for internal candidates, so 4. Not sure if thats 100% accurate though. Hopefully you'll hear this coming week! Fingers crossed for ya!

I tried to create a FB group but you need to add at least one other person before FB will let you create the group.

I got a call today (2 weeks after my second interview) and I was told I am the alternate for hem/onc. I won't have a for sure yes/no until mid-August. After not hearing anything for so long I was pretty sure I was out of the running, so I am glad to hear that I still have a chance, and that I was considered a strong enough applicant to be on the backup list.
