Hey everyone!

So I got a call this morning for my interview!!! YAY!!! I applied to 1) NICU and 2) hem/onco

Did they say anything whether they were calling for NICU or onc? Or was it just a general call. Im confused how they do this if its per unit or if its just kind of general right now...

ugh my heart stopped when I saw that you got a call for possibly onc though cause I havent received a call yet.

She didn't specify the department...just said 10 minute screening interview. I feel like this is general but they have grouped out applications by department to have some organization? So maybe people in similar departments get calls within the same time period.... I can be completely wrong lol but Im sure you will hear the phone ring soon!!

I have a question. Did anyone call and speak to HR after submitting your application/packet?

Thats weird that she didnt say, bc for mine she did specify my unit. She said that the 10 min interview would be me talking about why i want to work in cv acute. And she said if i havent done so already, i shud do some research on the specific unit at chla, so as to convince them to pick me to move forward...

was CV acute your first choice then? I wonder why we chose two? I know for the last cohort they made us choose 3...

Hilary, nm what i just said...now Im thinking that she probably will explain the details when she calls back to schedule the phone interview. I forgot that she was calling u back...that makes sense...

Yeah CV was my choice. I wonder how many total they will be calling out of all the people that applied...

And spanglec, I did not call HR to see if they received my packet and idk how many they hire...

I was told 50 out of 500 applicants. 1 in 10 odds hmmm.....
