  1. Hi Chantz, I am in the same situation as you are. Did you graduate in december? Because the issue with my school not being able to send my transcript early is that California requires the degree to be posted on the official transcript which takes time. You have to explain the situation to your floor manager and they will understand. If all your paperwork is already into the state hopefully it should only take 2 weeks for you to get your ATT after your transcript is sent. But trust me...Im right there with you!! We will make it, just be optimistic! And they only want your results on the website which does not take as long as getting them officially sent. I know people who have had it posted within a week of taking the NCLEX when they pay like $10 for expedited results.
  2. Hey newgradsteph, have you gotten your packet yet? Because I still haven't gotten mine!
  3. Was just offered a job in the NICU!!! I'm soooo excited!! Congrats to everyone else who got a job offer,, will be seeing you soon :)
  4. Got my interview email today! It's for 11/30 also! Congrats to everyone else that got one!
  5. Ya Bailey.C , hopefully they call back soon and let me know what the deal is! And spanglec, I did not call HR to see if they received my packet and idk how many they hire...
  6. @spanglec: She didn't specify the department...just said 10 minute screening interview. I feel like this is general but they have grouped out applications by department to have some organization? So maybe people in similar departments get calls within the same time period.... I can be completely wrong lol but Im sure you will hear the phone ring soon!!
  7. Hey everyone! So I got a call this morning for my interview!!! YAY!!! I applied to 1) NICU and 2) hem/onco The thing is I am finishing up my degree at NYU so I asked if I could do a phone interview, and for the rest of you out of staters, she said it should not be a problem she just has to confirm with the nurse recruiter. So now I am waiting for them to call me back to schedule my phone interview! And they offered a monday interview for you guys that were interested in the earliest slot :) So exciting! Good luck to everyone else!
  8. I got my packet today! :) So exciting! Anyone still finishing up nursing school and going to rush to take the NCLEX in time??
  9. hi annie! Thanks! I actually got into MGH's new accelerated bsn... it was only started a couple years ago so it's still up and coming. I'm glad to hear your friend chose it.... only makes my decision harder haha, but I think I'm leaning towards NYU :)
  10. I graduated from UCSD with a 3.0 cumulative gpa and had about a 3.6 in my prereqs- but I'm currently taking micro and anatomy. I had a lot of extra curricular activities and did a 2 year internship at a hospital down here. I applied on March 1st. Hope that helps! I'm wondering what are everyones reasons for wanting to attend NYU? It will help me make my decision :)
  11. Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hello and that I got my acceptance letter emailed to me this morning! So more might be going out really soon! Don't lose hope! Now I have to decide between NYU and MGH....any suggestions??
  12. I am from San Diego too! How funny! Thank you so much for all that information it really helps! Have you heard any thing interesting about the program? I'm still waiting to hear from other schools and haven't 100% decided on MGH but am leaning towards it..
