Hi all,
Just wanted to start up another forum for CHLA's Versant New Grad RN Program for the March 2013 cohort. Here's a link to CHLA's page: http://www.chla.org/site/c.ipINKTOAJsG/b.3579535/k.2A87/RN_Residency__Pediatrics_Nurse__RN_Versant.htm
The online app should only be open for a few more days apply now and GOOD LUCK!
OMG! Just stepped away from my fone for a second and they called, but didnt leave a message! I googled the # and sure enough it was CHLA!! I applied for CV also. I just called back and had to leave a message because they did not answer!! I am freaking! Why would they call and not leave a message?! Was this the right move to call back and leave a message?

Yes! of course this was the right move :) im sure they will call you back breathe :)
Also congrats on getting the interview!! And good luck to the rest of us haha im freaking out now. Fingers crossed and praying for everyone!!
btw did either of you who got calls so far have any experience as a CNA or nurse related something before? and how long ago did you graduate? if you dont mind me asking...
I have no prior work experience in any health related capacity, my last job was as a middle school Math & Science teacher. I graduated with my Associates degree in Nursing in June 2012. I started my RN-BSN in August 2012 and should have it complete by Aug 2013 if class availabilty this summer cooperates
Stay positive everyone, they have a lot of calls to make and I bet by day's end on Friday, we have a lot of happy recipients posting here. Crossing my fingers for everyone here!
Congrats to those who have been called :) Just out of curiosity, did they offer a phone interview for the first round? I live in Indiana and am currently work nights as an RN in the NICU, and while I'm certainly willing to do whatever it takes to get into this program, not having to book a last minute flight would be a lovely bonus.
My first choice was hem/onc, second was NICU.
Is everyone a new grad/early 20s? Nursing is my second degree, so I'm mid-20s, but just graduated in August :)
