Starting a thread for CHLA Spring 2025 cohort. 

Info session is this Friday 10/4 at 1pm via zoom.

The March cohort will begin on March 3, 2025. Applications will open on Friday, October 11 at 9 a.m. (PST) and close on Friday, October 25 at 12 p.m.

Qualifications: You are a new graduate or an RN with less than one year of nursing experience in any area by the start of the program

You have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Master of Science in Nursing **

**The following units will accept new graduates with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) for the March 2025 cohort: 5 East, 5 West, 6 East, 6 West, Duque, Emergency Department. RN residents accepted to the program with an ADN will be required to enroll in a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 2 years of hire.

is this the second interview with the unit managers? how many people were there and how long did it take?

OMG it finally worked for me I had to email them because the regular ICIMs wasn't working for me and hasn't been since I applied kept giving me an error saying I had restricted access and she sent me this link. My app also says updated but I haven't heard anything so not sure if that means anything? Does anyone else's NOT say updated 11/18? Thanks!

is there anyone out there who has not had their account say updated on 11/18 as of yet? because I'm wondering if it even means anything at all since I haven't heard back at all 😕

thank you I hope it went better than I thought it did! the first interview was with the nurses who worked on the floor. there were about like 10 people in the same room and they each had a question. tell us about yourself, why chla, why peds nursing. and then some clinical questions: tell us about a time you failed, a prioritization question, and what would you do if you are short staffed 

the second interview was with the leadership team which is with management and that was more personable. they wanted to know who you are and why peds at chla. much more comfortable and less intimidating!

yes the second interview! there were about 10 nurses in one room the first half. that one took me like 15 min so IDK if I did well there :( but the second one was 2 people one with management. that took like 25 min for me

I think for the most part they all say updated. So I wouldn't really rely on that, but we never know. I haven't heard anything back either 😞
