Hey guys! I am starting this for the March 2024 Cohort at CHLA. As people hear back about interviews, hopefully we can update each other.

Did anyone hear back from float pool?

Hi! I interviewed with the PICU last cohort. I didn't get it, but I can shed some light into the questions. It's all behavioral, "tell me about a time when...". It's also 15 minutes, and it's a HARD 15 minutes.

My interviewers were nice, but firm. It was really hard to gauge how I did because they had really strong poker faces haha. Do your best, mind your response length, and yeah smile!

Has anyone else heard back from the ER? Really starting to lose hope now.

hey, I'm from the previous cohort before this which is Nov 2023 but I am following this thread and I wish y'all the best of luck. after many rejections from hospitals before interviewing with this I was highly discouraged and understand how y'all feel but I never gave up and now am working at my dream hospital. don't give up guys you got this and y'all are still in the running goodluck!!

Thank you so much for this! Did you work somewhere else before CHLA?

From what they said at the info session as long as you have it before the start date you're okay!

Hey, I actually have not worked as a care partner or CNA. There was a lot of people I interviewed with. My second interview was two parts the first 30 with a panel of nurses that were both night and day shifts then the second one was with the two managers of the unit. Just emphasize a lot on the mission statement and the culture of CHLA, they really take pride in that.

heart institute cross train interviews today ! : did anyone interview with staff or was it just the managers ?

Duque interview today! Anyone already have gone have any tips? ?

Does anyone have any insight/ input on the questions and interview for the Duque unit?

Interview was 30 minutes. 12 people were there to listen and score you....scary I know?. They were all very nice tho and only one person was asking the questions. Asked about a time you had to work as a team, had a problem on the unit, took a shortcut, qualities you want in a coworker, strengths, DEI questions, etc.
