CHOC New Grad Residency Feb 2024
Hi! I was hired this previous cohort. Unsure when the applications open but I just checked the website once a day since it hadn't updated their dates. A little inconvenient but just keep an eye on the website and it'll eventually show the dates. I assume it'll update soon! I'd submit the application as soon as you can once it opened. Bc the applications closed before the end of application period! Unsure if it's bc they only take x amount of applications but to be safe I'd try to submit the first day as for pay my cohort started at 40.80 (if you have your BSN. ADN has less but unsure the exact number). $7 night diff and $5 weekend diff.

does anyone know if they have a specific scrub color for uniforms? I don't remember what I saw at the interview and forgot to ask when I got the call. I'm wanting to start getting scrubs now so I don't have to panic shop later LOL

Oh dang that's frustrating! Especially since you already have all those certifications. Not having your licenses could have affected things but I'm not too sure. Like 3 people in my unit are graduating this semester and don't have their license yet. But I wonder since NICU was super competitive if that was taken into account. My advice is def reapply if this is something you want and you're able to wait. A girl that got a NICU interview works at choc as a MA and maybe that gave her a leg up. When I was contacted about interviews she said about 310 applied and 80 have interviews:/
