Hey guys! I am starting this for the March 2024 Cohort at CHLA. As people hear back about interviews, hopefully we can update each other. 

RIP. Good thing I accepted an offer from Arkansas Children's. I will try again for California in a couple of years I guess ?. 
I am excited to work at ACH though!

Congratulation! NICU at CHLA is my dream. Do you mind sharing how the interview went with the unit manager? Any scenario questions? Did you have a previous clinical exeperience prior? I am planning to apply for the September 2024 cohort and I'm only interested in NICUU.  Any tips for standing out??

Hi everyone,

I know you are well into your residency program and I just wanted to say congratulations to all of you. I was wondering if any of you that were accepted in here only have an ADN? I know they allow ADN's to apply to specific departments, but I was wondering if they actually hired any. Thank you so much in advance 🙂

Maybe also check the spam folder! But yea, if you didn't get an email.. they WILL text you to make sure you get sign up for it if you're still interested.

This is late response but thank you for this post! I also received a text about sending me an email to interview. I started to think this was phishing!

Hi everyone! I hope your nurse residency applications went well. I'm currently a second-semester nursing student exploring ways to strengthen my application for programs like CHLA. I currently volunteer, work as a CNA, and hold leadership positions in clubs. I'd greatly appreciate any advice or insights into what CHLA values most in applicants. Thank you so much in advance!
