Just wanted to start a thread as there appears to be some from the past. Has anyone else applied for the August 2014 cohort? I would love to hear and keep in contact with other current applicants as well as those from the past.
Below is the program timeline for August 2014:
o March 28 - April 7: Positions posted
o May 12 - May 16: Select/notify applicants to interview
Got a call for an interview too around 5 this time. Must've been ending their day, maybe more calls tomorrow!
Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Plus, there were 6 tornado touch downs yesterday, lots of hail, and flooding today, so I figured maybe they were preoccupied with making sure all the areas of the hospital were prepared, and just all around chaos that can entail with that. I haven't heard any injuries from the weather though.
The weather here has been insane the last 3 days! Congrats to those that have gotten call backs so far and hopefully more will hear back tomorrow! Lets hope so!!

Yeah, I moved here.... YESTERDAY. Definitely was freaking out driving and reading the news. (Fiancé was driving, I was reading. )

I chose oncology, medical and NICU. And yes! Went to nursing school here..not originally from here though :) How about you?? Also, did you get the e-mails yet??
Congrats to people who have been offered interview opportunities! Just curious for people who have not received calls, has anyone's application status changed from "route" to "declined", or has anyone gotten an official "thanks, but no thanks" email? Just wondering if they contact people if they are not offered a position...

They didn't tell me... They said I would be receiving two emails before the interview so maybe one of them will have more info about specific units
