Children’s Hospital Colorado Nurse Residency (November 2019)

Hi! I am planning on applying to Children's Colorado this cycle for the cohort starting in November. I'm in Florida and don't really have any connections to the hospital but would absolutely love the opportunity to work there. I thought it would be nice to meet other applicants and stay updated on the application process. Let me know if you are applying too! Apparently it's quite difficult for external applicants to get a job there.

@alp143 I haven’t heard any update either. I applied to general, hematology/oncology, and ortho/spine. It’s frustrating because I have other interviews in Denver this week so I’ll be here and still just in limbo with them. I’ve reached out to their HR to get a final answer and nothing. Have you talked to anyone?

Lol I literally just interviewed like an hour ago!! How did you feel like your interview went/ when did you interview?? Mine was hard!

I felt like I did decent but yes mine was very hard! How do you feel?

Yeah I feel like I did alright too... hard to tell ? Did they tell you when we should expect to hear from them? I didn’t want to ask ?

Yes it was so hard to tell! I only messed up on one question but I think I saved myself. Unfortunately I did not ask I was too scared too ?? good luck to you too!! I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed! I’ll let you know as soon as I hear anything, you do the same!!

Hi! I was wondering if you guys could share a bit more about your application and experience in peds. What kind of peds or children's experiences did you have before applying? What was your GPA? What do you think they looked for in your application?

Hi! I realize this was 2 years ago, but if you remember anything, what was so hard about this interview? Is there any advice you have? And did you end up getting the job?
