Hi, I completed my proctored essay on Saturday, and now, the waiting begins. I was hoping we could share scores when the emails are send out May 2nd. Anyone else feeling impatient?

I scored 50/50 on the essay and I have 360 overall, so I am feeling pretty confident right now.

I got 50/50 on my essay. I'm SO surprised!! I didn't prepare very much beforehand and just wrote an essay that was very personable to me. My points are 360, I'm very happy because Chemeketa is the only nursing program I applied to.

I heard that the lowest score last year that got into the program was 346.

Just got mine back... Got 356.25. 50/50 on the essay. I'm so relieved. I didn't think I did well on my essay!

My total score is 354...

I don't know what I did wrong....44/50. I thought I had a solid essay and followed the instructions. My total is 254, which I'm sure is a not going to give me a spot. I did speak to the nursing department, one of my grades was incorrect, and they said only 165 did the essay.

How do we find out how many people did the essay last year vs this year, how many were chosen, what the lowest score was

? Where would you find that?

I know that 165 did the essay this year. I wish we knew what the minimum score was, too. What was your score Ericaorc?

The minimum score for acceptance really varies each year, based on the scores of the applicant pool. I can see if I can find out the minimum score accepted last year. However, this information really will have no impact on those numbers for this year.

Okay, so a classmate who got accepted into the program had a score of 357. Another person I know got the alternate list with 356.
