Chemeketa CC Fall 2014 Nursing Program

I saw a prior group from the 2011 graduates that had Chemeketa's name in it... I'd just do "Chemeketa Nursing Program (incoming '14)" to save confusion.

Make certain that once the FB page is created that it is set to 'secret'. Then it becomes invite only and people can't see posts or tags unless they're part of the group. :)

MommaFroggy any suggestions on stuff we should study or do to prepare for the first semester?

Any helpful Items that maybe we should look at buying that have helped other first year students?

A really good planner! There are some additional texts and things that helped some students, but didn't help others. Really, my advice is to enjoy your summer. Make sure you meet all the deadlines for immunizations and such. You'll have a better idea of what will work for YOU after the first week. 2nd year students will be available for advice, and if you create a FB page, it's not a bad idea to invite a couple 2nd years to it. That really helps when it's Sunday evening (or 2 am) and you need an answer, but know you can't get ahold of an instructor. :)
