I took my essay last Saturday as well. I'm quite impatient, too! Chemeketa is the only nursing program I applied to. I have full points on the grades portion of the application, but I'm still nervous!

I also took the proctored essay on the 12th and I am very anxious to get the results as Chemeketa is the only program I applied for.

I have a 4.0 GPA on all prerequisits so it is all down to the essay for me.

I thought that the instructions for the essay were straight forward and I was prepared for the question so I think I did well but I was nervous and I hope I did not over look anything in the directions for the essay.

Last year's point sheets were available ON the day they were expected. I know it's hard to wait, but Friday isn't that far away. I say this knowing that at this time last year, I was biting my nails and stalking my email hourly. :) Good luck to all the applicants this year!

If you don't mind me asking, what were your point totals last year? I'm assuming you were accepted. :) Also, do you know what the minimum point total was to get in? Thxs!!!

I'm not sure what the minimum was to get in last year. It varies each year depending on the points of the applicants. My point total was 360.

Wow...I have no idea what criteria they use when grading their essays, because I felt I did really well! I must have completely missed the mark, somehow, because I only got 44/50 giving me 354 total points. I doubt that will be enough so I'm especially grateful to have been accepted at OHSU -Monmouth! I just got my score! Yay! I got a 50/50 on the essay! I don

't know what I did right. My total score is 356. I think I have a good chace of getting in. This is my second year trying.

I don't know what I did wrong....44/50. I thought I had a solid essay and followed the instructions. My total is 254, which I'm sure is a not going to give me a spot. I did speak to the nursing department, one of my grades was incorrect, and they said only 165 did the essay.
