Hello Everybody!!

I thought I would go ahead and start a thread for the CHEM-101 online class for the Summer of 09.

Hopefully this can be a place where we can help each other out if any of us get confused!

Started looking at the first chapter last night. Looks like some metric conversion stuff. Meters per second and Miles per hour. This class would be quite helpful for ppl studying their Teas.

Started looking at the online quiz for the first chapter also (from that disc we got in our book). Hopefully it isn't so bad. My other online class has us doing 4 chapters a week. I'm more concerned about this class.

My classes aren't showing up on blackboard yet. Maybe it's too early, but It's 8:30a. I'm sure they'll be up soon though.

Glad to have you all in this class as support! It helps to have someone do it with me! Thanks!!

I read on another thread a while back that you can retake your quizzes, so that is a bonus! I hope the quizzes are like the practice quiz b/c the first 2 don't seem too bad.

So far, so good.

We have a research paper to do in this class also. Wow, that will be REAL fun & interesting paper to write. Not.

I bought my book used and it didn't come with the cd-rom thing, I hope that won't matter to much.

I looked those pages over...They look horrible!!

I completed the 1st 1/2 of our assignment for Week 1 last night.

I feel okay about it so far...

There are 2 Practice Problems that have me stumped (I think they're the last 2?).

I'm starting to think the textbook has the wrong answers in it, but I don't know...

I'll keep working on them & will post something if I can't get them.

I hope everyone else is feeling okay so far too!
