Chem Fall 2007

I'm hoping we can make this a sticky and have a new Chem group for Fall 2007. I'm starting August 23. I'm taking Chem (of course), A&P 1, and Nutrition. Anyone else up for a Chem group?

I am joining too. I start on the 28th. I have the book and am waiting for the lab package to hit the bookstore. I am nervous and excited. I am now wishing I would have paid more attention to science in High school!!!!

I am unfortunately taking general chemistry starting this Monday :o

along with human physiology and nutrition. I had chemistry before but the ns has a 6 year time limit on science courses, and it has been 15

years. :lol2:

I am not looking forward to it at all. I didn't like it the first time around. :uhoh21:

I am taking Intro to Chem. Starts the 28th. I'm nervous and excited. Don't know a thing about Chem. and I need a good grade to apply for the np in Feb. So fingers crossed! I am also taking Lifespan psych, Soc. 1, Eng 2, Problem solving math, and some success class I need for fin aid.

I signed up for a non credit "extra help" type class for Chem too..just in case!

I'm all for a new Chem group!

I think this thread will be a big help to us during our semester. I know I'm excited and nervous. I'm going to go and get my books today.

Hi everybody!

I'm registered to take A&P I and II and Chemistry. The chem course is Thur. with a Tue. lab from Sept to Dec. The A&P courses are accelerated (Mon/Wed ea. with lecture and lab): A&P I--Sept to Oct., A&PII--Oct. to Dec. I work a full-time job and everyone says I'm crazy to do three courses in the space of one semester. I've never taken chemistry and my algebra is ok but not great. Any advice on whether I should go through with my plans or drop the A&P courses and just get the chemistry out of the way? My main concern is not having time to do homework for my Wed. A&P classes due to my Tue. chem lab. My hope was to begin nursing school full-time in spring 2009 (Accelerated BSN), but that's not written in stone. These will be my first pre-nursing courses.

Same with me. I found out last week that if I had gotton a 70 in high school chem, I would not have to take it again in college. I got a 69!!!!! Really have been kicking myself for those crazy times in high school when I should have been doing homework!
