Cheapest, Best BSN Programs in US

Does anyone know what the cheapest, best BSN programs in the nation are today (in regards to either accelerated bsn programs or regular BSN programs)? Thank you :)

What about your local colleges--in-state tuition? Community college?

There is the option of getting an ADN at the local community college, then find a job at a hospital that has tuition reimbursement when you go for the BSN.

imho, the word "cheap" and "best" are usually mutually exclusive.

Accredited nursing programs are actually very similar to one another.....

Well, not in New York State. SUNY is a great university system.

I would advise the OP to look into his state university's BSN programs.

I would completely disagree with this statement. There are expensive schools that charge 54,000 a year and have a low passing rate.

Then there are plenty of schools out there like Louisiana State University that has a good reputation and charges about 15,000 for an 18 month ABSN and that is the out of state tuition rate.

There are plenty of expensive bad schools and plenty of inexpensive good schools. The cost really has nothing to do with the quality of the program.

Also you have posted this same phrase on several different threads including one that I started. You don't have to post the exact same incorrect statement all over the boards. We only need your opinion once.

To answer the poster, they are out there but it takes work to find them. Of course I am even more picky because I want a warm destination.
