does anyone know where i can take statistics and nutrition online this summer? im looking for something that is not expensive. i am starting my rn-bsn this fall and i want to take some classes online over the summer to get a head start (plus it would be cheaper than the rn-bsn program). the community college near me does not offer any classes online & another community college near me is having issues... lol. anyone have any idea where i can take these classes? also, my rn-bsn programs require one 3 credit class of whatever i want. so i really want to take these 2 classes online plus an easy one. thanks in advance!! :)

I'm going to do straighterline's Business Stats for my BSN. If you choose the $99 a month plan, the classes only cost $39. You can cancel the monthly plan as soon as you're done.

How about your local community college? May not be on-line but there's likely to be an evening session.

Easy enough, Clovis community college in NM.
Tuition for up to 7 credits is $267 for out of state residents. They have Nutrition & Stats scheduled for summer session.
**You can enroll for up to 7 credit hours for the same price as 3 credit hours for the summer semester, which would be $267 total + books and a tech fee of $9. Can't beat the brice.
I am thinking of enrolling n HG&D and another class just for the tuition discount. Its amazing.
Also, New Mexico Junior College has the same deal as Clovis. Enrollment is already open for NMJC, Clovis is not available yet. Application and admission is easy and instant.
Thank u nervous1 that's great! :) i will b looking into that! the bsn program I am in will not accept straighterline. Plus I can't attend community college during summer because of my husbands crazy work schedule. Thanks for the replies!!

Rio Salado has both courses I believe. For less than 7 credits it is in-county tuition. The great thing is the courses can start on any Monday. Some teachers let you self-accelerate so even though it's an 8 week course you can finish earlier if you would like. Depends on individual teachers though. Some courses do require a proctor for the midterm and final though.
Thank you so much! I will look into that one also :)

Hi, do you guys know if these places mentioned are accredited? Where can one check accreditation? Thanks!
To check accreditation you just log onto the schools website and look for the about us or accreditation information. You can usually google the school name and accreditation and come up with the info.
Hi guys, I am sorry for being a little repetitive but are any of you actually taking the stats course at Clovis CC in NM? The fact that it is so cheap is making me a little nervous. Do you think all schools will accept it? Do you think it matters where you take the course? I am thinking of taking Statistics and Growth and Development (the schools I am applying to won't accept my research methods course which had a lot of advanced statistics, I was a psych major).
Also, it has two catgories for tuition. NM Resident Out of District and Non-Resident. Not sure what the difference is.
