My name is Jamie. I attended the first application session today at Chattahoochee Tech for the Fall 2016 program. I've enjoyed following the last two groups of prospective students on these boards and thought I would see if I could get one started for the 2016 applicants. I'd love to get to know other prospectives and share the emotional rollercoaster that hopefully ends on a high!! :)
I got both email and snail mail for that letter. I received it last week but my friend that got rejected today she never got the snail mail copy of letter with the admission point correction. I took that as a good sign for me I was thinking I was worth the stamp, the envelope, and the paper. By the way I'm not an evil friend she knew she wasn't going to make it she didn't have micro or AP 2.

I've completed all the pre-reqs and I did okay with them......A's except A&P1 lecture I had a B and A in Lab. Back when I took the computers course it was still the old version of Microsoft (and my Laptop was new so it had the newest version of microsoft), so my documents weren't converted correctly on some of the steps, so needless to say I ended with a B in that class also. That was a stupid problem to have lol, and the following semester they updated the course to the newer version.......guess I should have retaken it but it's to late now. I did ok on the TEAS test......of course I wanted a 90 or more but missed that by 10 points. Oh well.....I've come to accept that God has a plan for me and my nursing degree, so I will just follow the plan even if it's not exactly the way I want it to be right now. My oldest child if going to be a Senior in High School this year and when I started this venture my goal was to be graduated before him or at the same time. I'm cutting it close now lol. I'm trying to spend this summer helping him in college tours and selecting the right college for him. He has changed his potential degree only about 5 times over the last 2 years, haha, but it's funny that his final selection NOW is the one I recommended to him in the beginning. He has played baseball his entire life and really loves History, so I had mentioned being a history teacher and coaching baseball........Soooooooo that was out of the question 4 years ago, but now he has decided that's his goal! I just nodded and said, "that sounds like a great plan! I'd never have thought of that."
