Anyone currently enrolled in or graduated from Chatham or NOVA's DNP program? Have any insight on either program? I know the part-time program at Chatham is 18 months and Nova's is 27 months but I want to know if an 18 month program is feasible with full-time work and 3 kids with lots of commitments.
Looking at Chatham also but do not have the required 500 hours to get accepted?. It looks like I would have to take the one class twice in order to apply for the DNP. Also like Capellas EdD.
Really? Wasn't 500hrs required for your MSN? Are you an NP?
Worth calling to ask them - they are advertising and marketing their program pretty heavily so I am sure they would be happy to give you help to apply.
So far - week 2, I am already slightly overwhelmed between work, kid and school. LOTSSSSSS of reading and writing already.
I actually withdrew. I did not find my advisor helpful, the amount of reading and paperwork was unmanageable, and it's just not going to work for me right now with my home and work situation.
Ugh, I am sorry, but it sounds like it is for the best. I am really questioning the wisdom of starting a program myself, between my day job, family, and part-time teaching job.

You may still apply to the program. You will just start the semester after you complete your hours.
