Charity School of Nursing (SON) Fall 2015

U.S.A. Louisiana

Is there anyone else applying to Charity SON for Fall of 2015 (RN)? LOL, everything is so quiet. I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread so we can give help and support. Good luck, everyone!

Hey, guys. I'm an applicant, too! Good luck to everyone :) I'm in Lakeview and I'm taking APII and Micro this semester.

What does the info session on March 11th cover?

Idk about other campuses but the a&p profs at westbank explain the information very well. It makes it easier. At least for a&p 1 anyway.

I heard the info session covers curriculum and what to expect and that stuff. The student I talked to said it was really helpful when she was applying. You can sign up for it on the website.

Won't this be covered in the orientation if you get accepted?

Yes. I'm going because I applied to both charity and LSU and I'm not sure which one I would pick if I was lucky enough to be accepted into both. I don't know too much about LSU's program and I have friends that just started at charity

I started to take chem this semester just in case I didn't get accepted to charity. That way I could start working towards LSU. I chose to sit this semester out, because I needed a break from all the stressing. Plus if I do get accepted I can have a break before the craziness of nursing school starts.

Yeah, I thought A&P II was tough as well! If ya'll are looking to take it on the westbank I would say go for it. I took (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for both A&P I and II and he's great!
