Charity School of Nursing Fall 2019

Published

Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

Wow, I'm glad I already took the HESI then, and I hope my score will be good enough!

I've heard that the new entrance exam will be more difficult than the HESI too.

Praying for us! ?

??????????

Has anyone taken (or is taking) the nursing school success course Delgado offers. I think it's NURS 101. Just curious, I kinda wanted to take it but found out about it late and $$ is tight. Looks like a good course though, as it covers stress management and test taking skills.

I haven't taken it, but it does seem like it would be really useful. I think its an online class.

I just saw this on canvas, thought I would share if anyone is interested. 1846432051_ScreenShot2019-02-05at1_02_04PM.png.b7c95012362ebfba51198313d3561fe3.png

Yes, I saw that too, and was wondering if they are anticipating having the acceptance letters out before March 19th, so that the ones that are accepted can go to this workshop to have a better idea of what to expect the first semester.

? Wishful thinking anyway, ?.

Hey! I was seeing if anyone is going to try and take that kaplan test to apply for next semester incase we dont get in for the Fall? Theu said you can only take it in March and if you dont then you cant apply for the Spring 2020 semester. Im planning for the worst and hoping for the best if you cant tell ?

I hadn't thought of that, but not a bad idea.

What is your profile score medicinewoman33?

I’m planning on taking it in March if things don’t go as planned. Hopefully they’ll offer a test date after we all receive our results.

Hey, ive got a 60 profile score. I made an 87 on my hesi and have all my clsses except english 102. I really hope to get in and have a good feeling about it but i cant take any chances. How about you?

Did anyone, who applied from another school, get an email about their transfer credits being accepted? I received the email last night. Last semester when I applied, I never received this sort of email. I am hoping that it is a sign.

My hesi was an 84.67 and profile is 60. When I turned in my application, I spoke to miss thorton, told me that I should be good at 60. So ??

Good luck y'all.

Most of my credits are from another school and I didn’t receive an email. I have taken one class with Delgado.

I have a profile score of 75. Hoping I get in so I don’t have to take this Kaplan test.

Yea, I totally understand not wanting to take any chances. I would be devastated if I didn’t get in, but I keep reminding myself to be realistic and have a back-up plan.

I made an 82 on the HESI (the BIOL section killed me) and have a profile score of 70. I’m finishing up the last of the prereqs now, I’m taking Micro, Math 130 and a Fine Arts.

Anxiously awaiting the end of March!
