I just received this. Not exactly sure what it means, but it looks good. I'm an LPN transition applicant.

Good Luck Everyone

That looks very promising! ??

I wish we were finding out today but the wording in the email says "later this week" makes me think wednesday at the soonest. Hope i am wrong though

?? another long day and i’m sure another long one tomorrow. I have a feeling it willbe Friday before we find out. They were late getting the summer LPNs their letters 2/28......

I dont even know how to feel anymore- I just hope I made the cut, if not this semester it will definitely be next semster. I took the Kaplan today and did better than the Hesi. I thought the anatomy questions in the Kaplan made more sense, they were kind of random in the Hesi.

??????

Yeh i’m thinking Friday too....ugh! Trying to keep myself distracted but still checking my email every chance I get!

@medicinewoman33. How was the critical thinking questions on the Kaplan ? In the info session they were saying it was more challenging in that area.

Did we submit our hesi scores ourselves? I can’t remember. Or do they look it up themselves

Critical thinking is not its own section. I’ve never really seen an official explanation of how CT is scored, but I’m assuming it’s your overall ability to decipher the information presented and answer efficiently. If you were choosing all the super off the wall answers and taking a million years per question, I’m sure your CT score would be low.

I got like an 88 and 90 on the reading and writing sections, but scored very low in science (I’m only about halfway through A&P 1, so it’s all material I just haven’t learned yet), but my CT score was almost a 90!

I just realized I turned in the wrong hesi score ? I turned in the 82 and not the 88

@Nurse2bBunny86 yea it was confusing how they judged the critical thinking, I'm guessing it was an overall from all the questions and how you answered them?

There was also no math which I thought was strange. I've got my scores below I almost wish I could have turned this in for the Fall it really raised my points.

Critical Thinking- 81

Science-55

Reading-100

Some of the science questions were straight forward knowing A&P facts but then some of them challenged like the theory and the wording was tricky. But a 55 in science gets you 10pts on the academic assessment. I'm just hoping I don't have to even use this!!

I really hope we find out today. My family and friends are waiting for the news, and I can’t plan other things until I know. I know we are all in the same boat. Good luck to everyone!

I emailed two people today about my hesi and usually they return my emails but not today so maybe the radio silence means today is the day
