Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

For both advising sessions I went to she recommended the profile score sheet. I have applied 3 times and I’ve always included it. Things may be different this semester ??‍♀️

I had one done just in case it was needed. When I dropped off my application it was given back to me as unnecessary.

Did anyone call to ask if the Kaplan is required for our group of students?

I called there today, and the person who answered the phone told me that for the Fall 2019 applicants, if you do not get in, on the re-evaluation form to apply for the spring, the HESI will be accepted for us.

Does anyone want to call in and double check on that? Just to be 100% positive? I rather not call twice about it.

If this is the case, I am jumping for joy!

Me too! That is what I was told, so if anyone wouldn't mind putting some calls in on that, that would be great. Just to we can double, triple, quadruple check that info.

From my understanding, Kaplan isn't required until February 1st. Our application was due by January 31st. They accepted my Hesi test scores.

I think what they are saying is if you applied for Fall 2019 and DO NOT get in they're being told the HESI score will be accepted for the next application period too

I've heard that we can submit a re-evaluation form for a July application but that's literally changed a couple of times in the last couple of weeks so I'd be afraid to rely on that. I took the Kaplan as a precaution last week. I'd hate to be in a position to miss a semester because I didn't take it. It's also an opportunity to get more points since it seems like the two exams are weighed a little differently. Max points with Kaplan are 40pts and 30 with HESI. I wonder how they'll calculate?

Yes, exactly. And I was told yes, by one person on the phone at Charity, but it would be nice if some others would call, just to verify that information, since we do not have it in writing or anything. I think that information is important for all of us.

I wish they would send out an official email or something about the Kaplan for Fall 2019 applicants.
