we have to go there to get ID's made? for some silly reason, i assumed they'd do that at our orientation. do we need them before we go to orientation?

when i was at uno, they always sent out info telling us what, where, when, why, how- delgado just doesn't seem to do that. i don't even know when tuition is due...

Tuition is due Aug. 6th. I "think" you can get IDs done at Charity. Call to make sure, though..

can u pay portion of tuition like Ive always done in the past? I think it's 1/3 or something..As far as ID's..There was no info sent out or anything so don't worry about it. I was just curious if they had to be done at charity or we could go to city park...I think they just tell you to wear your DCC ID while on charity campus or maybe it's just during clinicals..I dunno!!

You need to call the bursar's office to set up your payments to pay 1/3,,it doesn't come out exactly even,,but they will do it for you. As far as the IDs, you are required to wear them at ALL times at Charity,,,I already had mine last semester when in Basics, so don't know about getting them at Charity campus.

Has anyone purchase stethoscope and blood pressure cuff? If so let me know where did u purchase it from. And was for reasonable price.Thanks

I have purchased a stethoscope. Got a frosted Sprague online from Jasco Unforms for $14.95 + shipping. I choose this stethoscope because my husband uses this one at work and says he never has any trouble hearing anything he needs to hear. It also comes in pink, my favorite color! Haven't gotten a BP cuff yet, as the info I have says they will give us details on what to buy at orientation. If it ends up being just a basic cuff I'll probably return to Jasco as I had a good experience ordering from them before.

I got the Litmann Classic 11 S. E. from all heart.com for $63.00. As for the B. P cuff they say more info will be given on what to purchase at the Orientation.

my aunt bought my steth for me. it's a littman classic s.e. II (or some form of that haha) and came from uniforms by bayou. i'm not positive on the price, but i think it was around $70. they are supposed to be really good ones to have and they come in a lot of different colors. no bp cuff yet though- when i bought my uniforms, i was going to look for one, but the girl there was kind of rude and didnt really seem to want to help me, so i'm going to look elsewhere for that.

i've already read fundamentals success, and am waiting for the basics text to arrive. should be here tomorrow
