anyhow, you mentioned carpooling and i live no too far from you, but i'll be going at night this semester. but i'm sure we can work something out for orientation
oh cool nolastudent...my email is [email protected], feel free to email me!
do we need to have uniforms and equipment for the first day of school?
I got my uniforms yesterday, soooo exciting..however, we won't need uniforms until 6 weeks into the semester for clinicals. We may need the equipment sooner for lab though. I ordered my stethoscope online but there were a lot to choose from at uniform place. I still need to get nurse pack from DCC bookstore .
Is anyone going to be working while going school?
i'll be working. keeping my serving job as long as i can...

I just turned in my availability beginning mid-August when school starts, and if they don't fire me because I can only work two days a week, I'll keep working as long as I can. Its retail, and doesn't pay much, but I really enjoy the low stress environment. I have found over the last few semesters that I can actually get a lot of thinking about class material done while I'm folding clothes. Just going over things in my head, having to recall things without the benefit of the book in front of me is helpful. Besides, I don't have kids at home anymore and my DH is pretty self-sufficient, I'd be pretty dull if all I did was go to school and study! (Now, ask me this same question in 4 months and you may get a totally different answer).
