Chamberlian FNP March 2015

Published

Hi All!

I just applied for the March 2015 Chamberlain FNP program. Anyone in this process as well or anyone in the Chamberlain program currently?

Specializes in Oncology.

Hello! I am currently in my 3rd session at Chamberlain an this is my second time doubling classes. The course load is tedious and you have to be very motivated and self driven. I chose Chamberlain and online courses because I rather online learning than brick and mortar learning. (My undergrad came from a traditional brick and mortar school). It really depends on your learning style. From what Ive been advised, the first class is taken alone, then the next 3 sessions can be doubled. Some students have had to sign waivers to double classes, however I have not had to. Feel free to PM with more questions if need be!

Specializes in Geriatrics/family medicine.

I am applying for May 2015, guess the March class is already full. I got into another school but trying to view my options, please do share your experience when you begin

Well, I was recently notified that I was accepted to the program. I start in March. I'm planning on just taking one class at a time and maybe skip a session or two just so that I can maximize my tuition reimbursement from my employer. Financial people from Chamberlain were very helpful and actually suggested which sessions to skip so that I can have everything paid by my employer. So far the application process has been fairly easy.

I thought this was a pretty good online school when researching. I just didn't think the campus visit out of state was feasible.

Im in the program, started July 2014. This is my third time doubling classes. They only allow you to take the first class alone then you can double. The program is good, you do have to be motivated to get your coursework done on time and complete your reading. For me the classes have gotten progressively more difficult and I start advanced pathophysiology next semester and I am in the process of getting prep material for the board exams. Wish you well, if you get in I think you will like it, the program is well organized and so far everyone has been very helpful. Good luck!

Hello, yes I start March 2nd @ Chamberlain!!

Best of luck! if you would like to share information, your experiences email me at [email protected]

Thanks!
