Is anyone going to or graduated from chamberlain school of nursing in jacksonville fl. I was wondering what type of gpa do you need to get in, how competitive is admissions, and how it the school overall.

I just got a call from them. They are not accepting applications yet. This will be their first class. They told me that they want to get an idea of how many students want evening and day classes. Said they will call back once the State tells them which classes they can open. They wouldn't tell me anything about tuition or enrollment. "Checks in the mail..." LOL
Thanks I could not find out much either.

I spoke with them last month and they said for me to send my transcripts and application... I decided not to, due to cost... at the time they said they had no waiting list and they suggested I jump on it. So I guess they filled up.
I didn't get that out of them. Did they say what the tuition was??? Any other info on the length of the course, or anything?

Chamberlain had a representative at my employment two weeks ago. I was inquiring about the RN-BSN program and the costs. They stated the cost was $575 per credit hour and it included most of your books. So it is a hefty price! Not sure how much it is for the traditional RN program.

The program is a BSN Degree that takes 3 years and the total cost is about $70K. The gpa required is 2.8 based on your transcripts. The first class graduates next May. Totally not worth the money.

I really like the idea of getting a bsn in 3 years but I can't fathom the idea of getting 70k in student loans. I already have almost all the prereq's completed so that would take off some of the price. I wish there was some other way to get the tuition down...I dont qualify for aid or anything
Try FSCJ, SJRCC and UNF, least expensive but most reputable. JU is great as well, but costly.
