Hi Everyone,
I have applied to Chamberlain College in Phoenix for the March 2011 start date! So far most of my credits have transferred. I will be taking my HESI a2 exam this next Tuesday! I just have a couple questions:
-How do you like Chamberlain Phoenix so far, is it worth the money?
-Did you find out if you were accepted right after you completed the HESI a2 exam or did you have to wait?
-What was the application process like, did you have an interview etc?
-How was the HESI exam in your opinion, do you have to have a 75% to get in, what if your score is lower, is there a chance of getting in?
Anyone who knows I would greatly appreciate any info on this school and your experience thus far! Thank you so much and happy holidays!! :)
Hi Meesshhyyy,I have been taking pre-reqs and gen-eds for the past 4 years in California. I wish I knew about Chamberlain 4 years ago, I would have been graduated by now lol. Are you in a Nursing program at Oregon State and transferring to Chamberlain? Congrats on your hesi score and gpa, you should have no problem getting in. They do not count the chemistry and biology score... so I would not worry about those :). Talk to you soon!
Thanks! That's a big help. No state schools in Oregon have a nursing program and the private nursing schools around here run about $40k per year for tuition. Ridiculous, isn't it? I'm a general science major with an option of pre-nursing, so I have completed a lot of pre-reqs. I applied to two programs here for this next fall and got denied for both of them I have been looking outside Oregon and particularly like Phoenix after visiting there this past spring break. I'm glad they don't count biology and chemistry as I am not strong in chem. and haven't taken it since high school. I think I recall you saying that you got in for this March...did they take all of your pre-reqs? I've heard rumors they're a little tough on which ones they take.
Thank you!

Wow $40,000 a year.....that is pricey! I was just quoted $24,000 a year from Chamberlain, which I am okay with because I will have my BSN in the end :). They accepted 40 transfer credits from my previous college. Yes I did apply for March, however due to financial reasons I had to postpone . I just visited Chamberlain this past week and I really liked the school, advisers, and the area! They seem very organized, and the students had nothing but good things to say :).

Ah! That's awesome to hear. I hope that you enjoy it once you get into the program! I'm just sitting around with my fingers crossed hoping that I get accepted.
Hi everyone,
I was curious if the July start date was already filled up or are they still accepting applicants? I'll be hedging to the campus on Monday to apply. Starting October would be great too!
I have a 3.5gpa and got a 86% on my hesi a2. Is this good enough? Are there wait lists?
Thanks for any help.
Hi everyone. I'll start Chamberlain( AZ) July 2011. SooOOoo excited. Is there anyone in here who is gonna start July also? My orientation day is next tuesday which is 21st of june 2011. Love to know all of you.
Hello MHA,
I got accepted to July but can not move out there until September, so I will be starting in the October! How was orientation? Have you started school yet?

I'm still waiting to hear if I got in or not for October. They called last week and asked if I could send a copy of my CNA license over so hopefully this week I will hear something!
