Chamberlain College (Phoenix) March 2011 start date.

Hi Everyone,

I have applied to Chamberlain College in Phoenix for the March 2011 start date! So far most of my credits have transferred. I will be taking my HESI a2 exam this next Tuesday! I just have a couple questions:

-How do you like Chamberlain Phoenix so far, is it worth the money?

-Did you find out if you were accepted right after you completed the HESI a2 exam or did you have to wait?

-What was the application process like, did you have an interview etc?

-How was the HESI exam in your opinion, do you have to have a 75% to get in, what if your score is lower, is there a chance of getting in?

Anyone who knows I would greatly appreciate any info on this school and your experience thus far! Thank you so much and happy holidays!! :)

Good job KK4YOU!

I also was excepted into the July start. Did you do you pre-req's already, or are you planning to complete at chamberlain? I have a couple of classes to complete at Chamberlain myself. I will only have one semester before actually beginning the nursing cohort. I achieved a 3.4 GPA and scored an 83% overall on the HESI test. But if you are thinking about applying and you are worried about not getting in! I would still encourage you to apply.

Congratulations on your acceptance! No I still have Econ, Lifespan, Algebra, Stats, Culture, Logic, Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology to complete. I am taking those through Chamberlain starting in July with my nursing classes I think beginning in January. Have you already set up appointments with financial aid and the registrar? Look forward to seeing you in July! :)

The HESI A2 exam is a Nursing entrance exam. Some schools require it and some require other types of Nursing entrance exams for ex: TEAS or NET. Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else! :)

Congratulation to you guys for getting in!! I havent' got a call yet :( but i'm keeping my fingers cross so wish me luck too :D

The HESI A2 exam is a basic knowledge test of thing that you should have learned in high school. The test is relatively easy but you should study all the chapters before taking it. The problems that you don't use every day like unit conversions. Good luck!!

Yes please do let me know about your meeting! Did you have ---- as a admissions adviser? I have not found a place to live yet. Do you have any suggestions of better areas than others?

Yes she was my adviser too! I am not sure about areas either. On Thursday I am going to check out Scottsdale, Paradise Valley , and Glendale. I want to find an area that is safe but also inexpensive...so I might have my work cut out for me lol. I will let you know what I find out :). I can't wait to begin this Journey...it has been a long time coming! Talk to you soon! :)

Hey guys! I just completed my HESI today and am applying for the October 2011 start date. Is everyone coming straight out from high school? Or are there some transferring from universities. I'm at Oregon State University trying to transfer to the Phoenix campus. I have a 3.1 GPA and got a 82% on the HESI...I did great on everything except the Chemistry and Biology as I have yet to have extensive classes in those two subjects. Would getting a lower score on those effect admittance? I'd just like to hear everyone's opinion!

-Michelle
