Hello everyone, I am interested in applying to Chamberlain for 2020 at the Pearland campus in Texas. Iv'e been doing research, and some of the bad reviews frighten me... please feel free to comment anything regarding Chamberlain if you are also on the same boat as me, or already a student there.
Im so scared of being declined admission at Chamberlain. My transcript is not the best, but I have a 3.21 GPA and have an AA in Business. I am currently studying for the HESI, as I feel that can save me. ???
Thank you so much!

I know it can be difficult making a decision to attend Chamberlain because you can find so many mixed reviews online. I was in the same boat prior to attending. However, I am happy with my decision and have not had any problems! The first session will be the hardest I believe, not because the material but because you will realize how quickly 8 weeks go by. As I mentioned, I am almost a year down and I have built my routine and my time management skills. As long as you put in the effort, you will enjoy Chamberlain. Nursing school is difficult regardless of where you attend, and as long as you are committed and do the work, you will do great. I also had to take some pre reqs with Chamberlain because my prior degree was in Business so I was missing some of the sciences. Chamberlain also offers something known as “VCAS” which is student tutoring sessions, and they have been great for any pre req courses such as anatomy, chem, statistics, and Microbiology. All the professors I’ve had so far have been great, except for maybe one in my first session. Let me know if you have any more specific questions, I’ll be happy to help since I know how it feels when researching this school.
Thank you so much! It's been so hard trying to get info on this school. I joined a fb group for the campus I'm interested in, and I haven't really seen anyone complain there. I know nursing school isn't a walk in the park, regardless of where you go, but I do want to make sure I'm getting what I pay for so to speak. I hear either good/great things or horrible things and no in between. I've decided to just take the leap and go for it though. I completed my HESI, submitted my passion statement and the transcript from the community college I went to. I'm just waiting for my transcript from high school since I don't have an official associates degree. I feel very good about my chances of being accepted.
Hey guys, so I applied to Chamberlain a few ago to the Pearland Campus, (Houston campus as my second choice) and I’m kinda worried I won’t get in. I went to 4 different universities for my pre-reqs. I had a 3.9 GPA at HCC, 3.7 at WCJC, 3.3 at another university. During the Spring 2021 semester I attended HBU nursing program, which was extremely tough for me, which is the reason why I’m applying to Chamberlains program in the first place. However my GPA at HBU was not great at all. It may have been below a 2.75. However my HESI score was a 94. I’m worried on if I get accepted or not because my grades were so bad at HBU. However I’m not sure, because the classes I took at HBU were nursing classes and not the required pre-requisite classes like Ap1, AP2, Micro, etc. I’m suppose to hear back from this Friday if I get in or not, so what do you guys think my chances of getting accepted at Chamberlain?
Wanted to give somewhat of an update. I have my academic and financial meeting on Monday. I'm still waiting on the transcript from my high school to arrive which was sent on Wednesday to Chamberlain. Other than that, I've completed all the things I need to do to be considered for the program. Passion statement, FAFSA (which they've already processed), and my HESI. I've even gotten some of my vaccinations out the way early since I work at a hospital. The waiting is killing meeeee.

Oh that’s great! Congratulations! I have my financial overview later today. I really hope my final transcript got there so my file can be sent for review already.

I didn't see one-just looked. Have you joined the FB group for the Pearland and Houston Campuses?
