Chamberlain College Pearland campus

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hello everyone, I am interested in applying to Chamberlain for 2020 at the Pearland campus in Texas. Iv'e been doing research, and some of the bad reviews frighten me... please feel free to comment anything regarding Chamberlain if you are also on the same boat as me, or already a student there.

Im so scared of being declined admission at Chamberlain. My transcript is not the best, but I have a 3.21 GPA and have an AA in Business. I am currently studying for the HESI, as I feel that can save me. ???

Specializes in ICU.

What's the total cost?

I am in the same boat. The school has bad review, and the tuition is very expensive. I am worried about the school is not worth it.

I attended an orientation for the school and walked the campus. It gave me a lot more confidence for the school and I plan to start in the Fall. I believe the bad reviews are from people who don’t want to put it in the work. It’s nursing school, and it’s accelerated. Self motivation has to be there. I would highly recommend attending an open house.

Since the school is closed, I dont think there is an open house now. Do you know anyone attended Chamberlain or is attending it? Those bad reviews really bother me, btw I am applying in the fall as well.

Yeah you are right, there might not be an open house till covid is over. I do know some one who attended the Houston campus and they are now working at MD Anderson in the medical center. I also follow people on Instagram who are current students. If you have instagram, you can search #chamberlaincollegeofnursing , are you planning to go to the Pearland campus as well?

After doing some extensive investigation and research, I decided to apply. Have either heard back regarding your acceptance?

Anyone know anything about the San Antonio campus?

Yes, I applied to the Houston campus. I’ve taken the HESI before for another school so I’m not too worried about it. The downside is, I didn’t have to take the chem and biology section so I’m Not really prepared for that. Did Pearland give you an idea of when you all would take the HESI?

During the orientation the senior advisor mentioned that you should aim to get at least an 85 in the English section. He said they weigh the English section more than the science section, and some students focus on the science and end up failing since the did poorly in the vocabulary/grammar section. Do you recall if the math section is all multiple choice? Or do they have fill in the blank?
