I was recently accepted to this program for January 2014 session. Anybody else currently accepted or plan on applying?

Current students: How do you like Chamberlain so far?

They're switching to ebooks. I recommend getting your own used books for these courses since they require a lot of studying:

fundamentals

health assessment

adult health I&II

critical care

all of the other classes were very manageable through their online ebook (in my opinion). Keep in mind ebook will be offered in some classes. Not all. And you are charged for it if it is. Think $40 for the session. I don't remember aha. You'll see it on your billing statement. We tried to fight it. Totally lost. But it's ok I actually started to like the ebook very much.

$665/credit hour. Pretty pricey. I maxed out my loans and paid approximately $5-6k out of pocket over time. I liked the program ^_^ Hospitals have been saying they LOVE Chamberlain students because of our ability to critically think.

I start January as well! Where is everyone as far as the enrollment process? I registered but it is still not appearing online. I'm also waiting for information about the drug screening. I continue to email but I just want to make sure I'm not behind.

I am interested in applying to this college and noticed your post. Did you find that your credits transferred? I have several credits due to several college/university transfer (military spouse). I'm just keen to get on a program that I can actually finish!

I would think that it would depend upon how many credits you are transferring (credits being accepted)into Chamberlain.

The HESI Admissions Assessment review book will cover examples of what will in the test.

Also the Chamberlain.edu website gives a breakdown of this. Look under the HESI Admission Assessment (A2) Exam FAQs this should help.

As for the Pearland campus I do not know as I have not been there. The Houston campus was fine. I signed in at the front desk and waited to be briefed on the upcoming test. Then went to the room and was given an overview of what to do. There were snacks available If needed, as well as earplugs. The AC was on quite high so if you think that would bother you take a light jacket/cardigan/sweater with you.
