  1. Hey! So I'm currently looking to apply to UTHSC. For anyone that has already did the application process, could you tell me how that went. I'm little confused, so you can have 40 of the 60 prerequisites done in order to apply?
  2. The only subject that are detailed is a&p really.. The others were basic. What campus are you applying too? Hope this helps!
  3. I applied and got accepted into Chamberlain pearland campus for fall '15! Did you get in?
  4. Hey guys! I just got academically accepted into Chamberlain in Pearland as well for September. Just wanted to know how you guys like it and exactly how much of an overload of work there is that I hear about lol. I got in July to meet with my advisor, looking forward to this program!
  5. Hey! So I went and took my exam this past friday, the 5th of June.. First let me say this, I used the Admission Assessment Exam Review 3rd Edition... it is very helpful, but also use other resources as well.. any biology, a&p, ect. books. The exam wasn't as bad as I thought, Reading - Not bad, just take your time to read each passage. Math - Basic math, there is a calculator the computer provides for you.. very helpful. Vocab - Just like the book for the most part, if there was a work I didn't, I used context clues that helped me answer them. Bio - Just know the phases of Mitosis and Meiosis, and basic cell funitions Chemistry - Was def. a subject I was nervous about but I actually did the best in this subject. It was pretty basic and not too detailed questions. A&P - Know locations of bones, and if something is Distal, lateral, inferior, ect... things like that. I had to take all subjects but Physics. Hope to find out if I got accepted or not within the next few weeks. Feel free to ask me any questions but trust me, I was stressing trying to prep for this exam.. but DO NOT STRESS! Seriously, it isn't as bad as we expect it to be. Plus, if you already know the basics of these subjects, just review review review. And you'll do fine!
