Chabot, Merritt, Ohlone Fall 2017

Hello Fellow Bay Area Students!

Did anyone apply for Chabot, Merritt, or Ohlone's Fall 2017 term? We should be hearing back from Chabot in about 10 days!

YassQueen, do you know how they calculate their criterion score ?

Keeping my finger crossed for all of us who waiting for the result.

@qvuong the last time I remember, it has something to do with gpa. It's my 1A grade that put me down for my application. I remember they sent me a mail regarding my criterion score and just said that I wouldn't be included in their lottery

I applied to Butte and just ccc. I'm already waitlisted for shasta but that probably will not start til Fall 18. Was gonna apple to Ccsf but the last time I applied, they didn't even open my application due to the number of applicants. What about you?

@kbear09 I applied to Chabot College and CCSF, I am on standby list for CCSF and expecting to hear back from Chabot next week.

I was gonna apply to ccc too but I haven't take the pharm and drug dosage class.

You should of take the challenge test for pharm and drug dosage! Although I took mine in class. It's odd for ccc to require more classes though. Try and take them over the summer if you plan to. But classes will probably 4 hours long

@kbear09 I got my letter from Chabot college today. I'm on an alternate list #22. Hopefully I will hear from them soon. Having my finger cross.

@yassqueen did u received ur letter from Chabot ?

@qvuong nice!!! I hope you get in!! I'm alt #24 at ccc and was told that I went 5 down the list because they had to take out some people. Have you taken the teas yet?

Not yet. I have it scheduled for June 2nd. Any advice?? I'm focusing towards science and math but I read that some people who took it thought they were easy and that reading part is hard. I have both mometrix and ati study guide. Are those good enough?

Hi everyone! I heard from Chabot today. I am alternate 24! Last year they went up to alternate 38!!
