I tooks Nclex-RN for Florida in Makati Philippines October 2012..then I failed.

Now, 2014 I am in Hawaii and I would like to retake again..for BON Hawaii.

my questions are...

1. Do I need to resubmit again all the documents I submitted before to cgfns?(sealed docoments containing RLE, TOR course discription etc.) do I need to start from scratch or the cgfns had my files already ..? and I just need payment.

anyone here have knowledge about this??? thank you ALOHA~~~~

I believe you need a Social security number to get a license in Hawaii....http://hawaii.gov/dcca/pvl/boards/nursing/application_publications/pvl_nursing_exam.pdf

You are aware that Hawaii BON requires IENs to do CGFNS CES. I would suggest contact CGFNS if they could send the CES results of your credentials to HAwaii BON. I believe there is an option on credential evaluation that you can add recipient for the CES results in a certain period of time. You could also ask CGFNS to re-evaluate your credentials and issue official report for Hawaii BON.

crichie23 thank you for your reply..what is IENs??? have a good day

you can check your former cgfns account to see if they still have your credentials because they keep credentials for up to 2 or 3 years or call their customer service to inquire. After that, apply to CGFNS for CES for hawaii BON. you will still need to go through cgfns but may not need to send your credentials again if they still have it
