CGFNS-CVS for NY State:missing documents

Hi Suzanne and Everyone,

The status of my transcript validation form for my CGFNS-CVS for NY STATE is still "waiting to be received".It has been almost 2 months since I sent my application to CGFNS.I called CGFNS and I was told they will wait after 60 days from the date they sent the first mail before they will send another request form to my school. Is it possible for me to go to my school and make the request myself? CGFNS is talking about sending another request in December 18....that is too long!! Please advise. I really really appreciate all the info I get from allnurses.com guys...Thank you very much!!

Forget about NY, for some reason these philadelphia people have an issue with New York and it's not because of money, since they still charge you bloodily. They just don't do the work. You pay them sweat money and you crawl at their feet begging them like begging masters. I have experienced so many ridiculous things from them I don't even want to tell you. This is not right. These people took your money and they still hate you. If they dislike international nurses they should straight this out with people instead of selling them false hope then screw them after wards. Now they are doing this like they have a higher calling.

in that case how can i convince cgfns.org to send anothere transcript of validation form to my school, since they already sent the 3rd/last letter?do i have to call or email them??? thnks for the info suzanne4:))

sorry, but i do not agree with you 100%. they do not have issues with ny, and are only following what ny has dictated that they do. take it up with ny if you do not like it. and they do not dislike foreign nurses.

if you will take a moment and look at what has you in your rotten mood, chances are it had something to do with what you did in the beginning, not cgfns. over 90% of those that have issues with them, are nurse related issues and not the fault of cgfns. could have been a wrong birthdate, not notifying them that you married, different first name on a school record. instead of moaning about it, try to do something constructive.

and if any foreign nurse wishes to work in the us, they need to go thru them. no way around that, unless you marry an american, and to do so, just to get a gren card is considered immigration fraud.

--------------and since you list in your profile an associate degree, i take it that you trained in the us, or it would not be accepted here in the first place. am i correct on that? and if you trained in the us, and are having issues with cgfns, i can almost bet on it that it had to be an issue with your previous documents, am i not correct?
