yes, I don't have an experience and they said that I graduated for 3 years already. OSBN said that they can accept me if I will not pass the 3rd year from the time I graduated. so I submitted my application to them last march, but the result I got denied because they still want my experience and I pass the 3rd year.

Ahh, yes, I see....it is listed as the top minimum requirement on their application form about the 3 year statue of limitation!

Wow, interesting....

yes, that's why I ask them first and told them that I have no experience before I applied to them. but they still denied my application. and it is their rule. I really wanted to take the nclex because finding a job here even in the non-nursing field is difficult. that is why I would like to ask if where state is my next option? a state that has no time limitation in graduation date?

Again, where do you want to find a job once you pass the NCLEX-RN, what state? Others have gone to NY, FL, HI or TX, do you mind moving to one of those states and do not plan to endorse to another state once you pass the NCLEX?

I really wanted to work here but since Wa is also enforcing the concurrency rule, I am planning to take the NCLEX somewhere that is not strict. do you know what are the requirements in Hawaii?

With regards to the HI requirements, have you read their requirements, that's your best bet to do some follow-up on, but more Phil'ers have been applying into HI due to "easier" requirements, but finding the job is the hardest part (as it is for most states, just you're dealing with a much smaller demand or hiring process in HI).

I was denied in Oregon :( they said that I do not have any experience, do you know any state that allows unexperienced RN? please do help. Im so devastated!:(

Oh... That's so unfortunate...

Did OSBN recommend any steps that you could take so you could be licensed in Oregon? For instance, could you enroll in some nursing courses, take CEUs, etc.?

I talked to the Iowa board of nursing and they will accept me even I don't have any experience. probably I will work in Iowa and earn money for the CEU and endorse my license to the Washington, is that also an option?

Why spend the time and money to pay applications fees again and possible more time wasted going to IA then to WA? As it's been the same story, just apply into the desired state and if so denied, then move to another accepting state.

WA is a known enforcing concurrence state, but you might get lucky and get the ATT there and if you pass the requirements, make sure you pass the NCLEX the very first time, as if they are like CA, many of the re-applications gets denied. So if WA doesn't work, then you know to try IA.

Getting any out-of-state license is NO guarantee or an automatic transfer of license that sooooo many kababayans think. All endorsement applications are required to submit copies of their college/school transcripts, just look up any interested state's application AND look for those educated outside of the USA. It's all there.

Hi jcmdimaano.. What is your agency by the way? I'm just curious that there is still agency which caters nurses applying as immigrant in the US nowadays.. My friend is eager to apply as nurse in the US. She already had CGFNS and NCLEX. The only problem is that she haven't applied on any agencies for US. I tried to help her join my agency via immigrant status but my agency declined due to retrogression. I hope you can also give info about your agency. Thank you very much.

Regardless on agency your friend will still be affected by retrogression and probably means most agencies will not take on due to the long long wait
