  1. after a long wait, my name was posted yesterday in their website license look up.I called them and they said they just mailed it yesterday. Thanks God.
  2. Hi, I am a Philippine trained nurse who recently moved in Illinois USA through EB3 visa PD June2005..I am a registered nurse in the state of Vermont. I applied for reciprocity here in Illinois IDFPR last August 15,2013 together with the fee via registered mail. I received a mail back that they received my application last August 20,2013. Every week I call their office to check my application, simetimes 2~3X per week. They advised me to call back the following week and so on and so forth which I also did . They promised to look into my case but after a week they said my name is not yet in their data system. The same person answers my call most of the time but it seems that she really don't look into my case.Sometimes ,different person with different reason, like they just received the August applications. I am already tired of waiting and calling. I can't work here with no license, and my petitioner which is a Nsg home,is already waiting for me to start my job. My friend who also came from the Philippines who also applied for reciprocity in Illinois only had less than 4 weeks of waiting until she found her name in the IDFPR website on the RN list. She's the one who advised me to call the IDFPR 2~3X per week. But it didn't work for me. I hope somebody can also share his/her experiences about this matter or any advice related to this. Thank you for reading.
  3. What is the email add of Illinois board of nursing please? I want to obtain Illinois license too . I took my NCLEX last March 2013 from the state of Vermont. Thank you.
  4. How about prioritization by La Charity and lippincot answer banks.
  5. Hi there..I am also planning to endorse my Vermont license to Illinois. I am a foreign nurse and just confused regarding the processing. Do I still have to process the CES evaluation from CGFNS?or just pass my visa screen and cgfns certificate copy? Or I will just send the application form of Illinois to my school and licensing department here in my country. There's a lot of fees . How about NURSYS verification, do I still have to pay for it? Hope I can also find answers here. Thanks!
  6. Hi jcmdimaano.. What is your agency by the way? I'm just curious that there is still agency which caters nurses applying as immigrant in the US nowadays.. My friend is eager to apply as nurse in the US. She already had CGFNS and NCLEX. The only problem is that she haven't applied on any agencies for US. I tried to help her join my agency via immigrant status but my agency declined due to retrogression. I hope you can also give info about your agency. Thank you very much.
  7. Will I still use NURSYS for verification?
  8. Try LaCharity book about prioritization, delegation and practice the Q&A until you finished the whole book. You will make it .
  9. This book is a great help for me. I studied and finished the whole book 2nd edition. It will really help you in terms of prioritization, delegation , etc..practice answering the questions and as if you are taking the actual NCLEX.
  10. Thanks traumaRUs for the info. I noticed that the link you gave was "renewal" for internationally educated RN. Is this the same with endorsement /reciprocity? Meaning, I must obtain another CES report which I did when I applied for eligibility in Vermont NCLEX. Another payment for this.;( How about the forms with CT NUR, ED NUR..thanks
  11. I am a foreign nurse from the Philippines and I just wanted to know if what is the first step in endorsing my license. Do I still need to submit CES, which I already did when I applied for my exam application to Vermont last year. Do I still need to fill out the ED NUR? I'm just a kittle confused. What are the other requirements? I hope someone will notice my post. Thank you.
  12. Thanks to all greeters... I prayed so hard that I will pass this exam. I focused more in answering La Charity's book. I finished 1book of her 2nd edition..I studied Saunder's 5th edition(just for reference). I also joined Kaplan free training on line.Answered nursing 4000 and studied the notes from this, site. This was my 2nd attempt.I took my first last july 2011...I'm also tired of reviewing that's why I ask God to help me pass. I prayed to Mama Mary ,Saint Pedro Calungsod,Sto. Nino,St Joseph of Cupertino, St Therese of the Child Jesus,Rev. Mother Victoria de Piedad, and to the Lord Jesus and Holy.Spirit. Prayer is so powerful if you have faith. Just trust and believe that you will make it.Prayers can move mountains. But more importantly study study study.:-)
  13. Thanks...i was worried because at first i thought i will fail because of the math which i just guessed the answers...did you already take the exam?
  14. I tried the PVT just a while ago and it says i waa already scheduled for an exam instead of cc...
