Cgfns is so Bad

CGFNS is terrible.

They somehow managed to mixup my application with someone else's :uhoh21: Two months on and I'm still trying to get that nonsense untangled

I have to submitt everything fro all my schools again for visa screen please tell me they use the documents they already have!!!!!!!!!!

You'll be glad to know they use the documents they already have, to process your Visascreen.....well, they did with mine, so fingers crossed you shouldn't have to re-submit.

sorry to hear that, .... but it is good that you are doing the follow ups..... its just a case to case basis... in my case, i got a very good service from them... i applied for cgfns examniation and visa screen at the same time... itook the exam last july 12, and got the result august 13, and then on august 24, they sent my cgfns results togetherwith myvisa screen... well, i guess luck is a part of it...

Same here. I got good service from the. No delays and in fact when I applied for my Visa Screen Certificate, the moment I sent my last requirement, the TSE, I received my VSC with in two months.

oH MY GOD cgfns ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD I sent my application the start of March for my CES I have sent every letter and document they asked for and finally last Friday they told me they had everthing they needed to start the report. I confirmed EVERY letter and document with them and they listed each item and said they had it and to ring back this week to confirm the report had been started.

So today a week later I phone and the guy on the phone tells me no report has started and totally denies that they have received 2 of my pieces of paperwork. I tell him they were sent signed for mail and cgfns signed for them AND sent me an e mail to say they received them AND I confirmed their recipt over the phone at the time AND they guy a week ago said they were there and the report was being started. The guy totally denies this and puts me on hold for 15 MINUTES cost me a fortune.

He then comes back on the phone and tells me to get my nursing school to send documents again. I say no way put me onto a manager and low and behold 10 mins later Im told yes they have everything and my case is ready for review and to call NEXT week to check the report is started.

WOW these people are terrible 8 months since my application and now 8 weeks to issue the report they tell me from now as all documents are there. Cant wait to start my visa screen with them AGHHHHHHH. Actually on that note so I have to submitt everything fro all my schools again for visa screen please tell me they use the documents they already have!!!!!!!!!!

If you apply to take the CGFNS exam, the service is surprisingly good. If you apply for any other service, such as CES or Visa Screen, the service almost always sucks. CGFNS is really pushing its exam, even if it is no longer required by most US states. And understandably so. Most of its revenues come from the exam fees.

I applied for CVS NY last June.I sent them two transcript authorization forms because I went to two nursing schools but the transcript requirement from the first school I attended was waived.

I got a letter dated Sept. 5 that they are already starting to process my papers. The school I graduated from received the request Oct. 4, but it was the request for the first school I attended. My school informed me that they returned the letter to CGFNS. Judging from the time the request arrived to the school, it will take another month for CGFNS to receive the returned letter, another month for them to determine that they sent the wrong request, one month for them to send a new request, I guess it will take forever...

The problem is, in the letter they sent me, they are giving me 185 days to complete the request.

I am actually surprised that there are no latter reports of CGFNS ineptitude and failures. Anyways, I have had a very negative experience with CGFNS since 2007 and still, to this day cannot get my educational credentials evaluation report issued. I have lived in the U.S. of A for almost 14 years and have dealt with the INS then DHS, etc., but never have had as much angst to say as I do about CGFNS. This organization is a sham and the people that work there are Crooks. They took my money and never delivered. I intend to bury them with bad rap until they clean their act and improve for the sake of myself and others.
