Nursing Students School Programs
Published Oct 21, 2014
Hey guys!
anyone on here applying this semester for the 2015 nursing program at cape fear community college? I'm curious as to what the general number of points everyone will end up with for courses. Good luck and I hope to hear from someone !

Wow lots of 350's! I have a 346.5. I'm still trying to figure out if I can commute 1.5 hours each way! Any other commuters on here?
BioChick23,
I live a bit far away and they did the point count with me over the phone!

They worked with me as well, from Baghdad! Unfortunately my count isn't as high because I have to retake A&P…they're both older than 5yrs. Oh well, all I can do now is cross my fingers and wait.
Johnnydr- It will be hard, but worth it. I commuted the first time I was in the program. Just 45mins, but I used that time to listen to the lectures I recorded.

Oh man ! I wish I would have read your comment earlier.
This wait is killing me! I've received my acceptance letter from BCC but am holding out to hear from CFCC. Has anyone received anything yet?

Congrats on BCC! I'm guessing it won't be till Friday at the earliest since the college was closed on Tuesday and didn't open until 11 am today because of weather.

Hey yall! Well I called the counseling department on Monday (because I'm highly impatient) and they said they needed more time to gather the point totals and the letters would probably go out till early next week... Ugh!! Hate waiting!
Acceptance letters were printed today! I'm guessing they will be mailed tomorrow!

Just now became a member of allnurses even though I've been stalking this forum for months!!
you all sound super confident compared to me- I'm still in the running but my overall point count wasn't too promising. I talked to a counselor yesterday and filed another intent for the LPN program. Has anybody considered this route?
I talked to my counseler about the LPN program as well for a back-up, but I'm waiting to hear about this program till I apply, from what my counseler told me we have till April so if Im a no-go LPN will be my backup. Really don't want to do the RIBN program personally, I'd rather go through the bridge program after LPN! For those who live in Wilmington, does anyone know how quickly we will receive the letters after they're sent out? I'm trying not to stalk my mailbox any more than I already am
amen!! Camping out next to the mailbox is getting old!
No letter for me today... Here's hoping for tomorrow!
