Nursing Students School Programs

Hey guys!

anyone on here applying this semester for the 2015 nursing program at cape fear community college? I'm curious as to what the general number of points everyone will end up with for courses. Good luck and I hope to hear from someone !

i got my acceptance letter today! YAY!

Well guys, I got my rejection letter. But will be trying again next year! Thank you all for your support through the process and keep us Allnurses members updated once you all start in the fall! I look forward to hearing about your experiences. (:

Do NOT give up! You will get it next year! Just take classes to get more points and also take classes in your weak sections of your test, they will help! I didn't get in last year, not even an alternate and I worked my butt off this past year to make sure I got in this year. From what I have seen a lot of people in the program applied last year and did not get in. If there is anything I can do to help you please let me know..we are here to support each other!

Also look into applying to UNCW and BCC as well next year. I'm on the alternate list this year for CFCC, but was accepted to BCC. Not my first choice but I will gladly accept it if I don't get in with CFCC. Best of luck!!!

Thank you for the support Pinorah and KDM83 !

I have applied to the RIBN program at cfcc and will be applying to Watts (in Durham) this month. Do you have any pointers on studying for the PSB next year?

Taking the extra Bio classes is what really helped me improve my score on the test and also the psb study guide book that was recommended helped with the other sections of the test.

Hi everyone! I'm applying to RIBN this year last minute. I have not taken my PSB exam yet and had a quick question. How many points is each section of the exam worth?

The points from the PSB are based on the percentage of the questions you answer correctly. I think the highest you can get is 99% in each section.

The RIBN program uses your raw score which is the number right above the percentage when you get your result. You will know whether or not your raw score is good or not by looking at your percentile score.

Hi DevilDog03,

Fingers crossed we both make it!

Keep us updated! I got my acceptance letter on the 18th last year so you shouldn't have to wait to much longer!

We haven't even gotten our point count letters yet. Just hoping we know before the deposit deadline for UNCW.
