I am really hoping someone on here may be able to help me.
I have a Bachelors of Nursing from an Australian university. On my CES report it states that my Bachelors degree is the equivalent on an American diploma of nursing.
My husband is a hospital trained nurse from the UK. On his CES report it states that his training is the equivalent on an American diploma of nursing.
How can CGFNS say that my husband and my education is the same? I have a university degree and he does not.
I have tried to speak to CGFNS about this but have had no luck getting an answer. The person they said I need to speak too wont return my phone calls or emails.
I really want to do further study here in the US but I need to have the equivalent of a BSN to do it.
Thanks
Hi, Ahua12, I am interested in contact with you because I have the same problem. I applied to Florida board and cgfns written in CES report I was lacking hours in clinical and theories. Almost same numbers as yours. Where I can find the remedial refresher course to make up my lacking hours. Do you mind to give me some info where you took it?
Thank you very much for your info.
I took my remedial nurse course at Florida Southwestern University in Fort Myers. Here is the web page that lists all the remedial nurse courses.
Hopefully you find a course that works for you. They are a bit expensive but well worth it to sit the NCLEX and start working!
