im just new here, it's nice there is such informative and useful site like this.

I have question regarding CES in applying nclex for Illinois. I've that the requirments are CES and TOEFL. I have my CES but i'm a little bit confuse because my CES was Healthcare Profession & Science Report but in the requirements i've read the needed CES is Healthcare Profession & Science Course-By-Course Report. i just want to know if my CES will be accepted? i hope you could give me an idea on this.

I would just like to ask if i am doing my application procedure correctly here, I am applying from Manila, Philippines through the "written application" instead of the "online" option. But through the process I came to read CHART II - Examination Codes and Fee that I am prompted to also apply online through http://www.continentaltesting.net... So aside from the written application do I also have to apply through the web and pay the value intended for the service?

The form also asks for a 12-entry Test Code as well as a a 4-entry Test Center Code.. im not sure if I have to fill this out at this point? I'm applying to be eligible and i don't have the permit yet.

I also encountered that problem while I was filling up my application form. But while I was reading reminders regarding application for Illinois I read that aside from passing a written application I also had to register online so I did. I registered online, filled up the same things in the written application form and there in the part VII, you'll click option for school, I choose "All Philippines School" then they gave the 12-entry Test Code as well as a a 4-entry Test Center Code. and then after finishing the form, they sent me an email with a confirmation code and a link where I can download my application form that I have filled up. I printed it and it will be the one that I will pass as my written application. Hope this helps. :)

Hello. I graduated BSN in the philippines. I am a US Citizen so i was ineligible to take the local board (NLE). I want to be licensed in Illinois but it states that you have to have proof of licensure in the country of education. My question is, would they waive this requirement since I can't be licensed in the Philippines because of my citizenship? Would the CGFNS CES be enough? I tried numerous times to call the IL BON but I couldn't get a live person to talk to. Please help. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi guys, I am applying for nursing licensure examination for illinois and since I am a filipino and had finished my nursing degree here in the Philippnes, I need to pass the 4 page application form, money order of USD 91 and FP-NUR. Since I am here in the Philippines and the only way for me to secure the forms is thru the website of IDFPR, How can I obtain the finger print cards here from the Philippines? I understand that the FP-NUR should be submitted to IDFPR together with the money order payment and 4 page application form, only if the fingerprint cards have been done and sent to the official fingerprint vendor of IDFPR (LIKE aCCURATE bIOMETRICS). So how can I secure a finger print card? Will IDFPR send the fingerprint cards to me if I pass my 4 page application form with USD 91 application payment thru airmail FIRST, and after they send the finger print cards, then that is the time I send the FP-NUR to IDFPR right after I mail the finger print cards to Accurate biometrics for processing and verification? Is it how the system works? Kindly enlighten me on how to file my application because I think without the finger print cards, then this application of mine for nclex will be delayed.

Hi! It's been 3+ weeks since my application was received by the CTS and I still have no status update whenever I chek it on the site. My CES Report was there since December. My fingerprint card receipt was already sent there also. So I tried calling the number that was written on the application form for the Examination assistance to ask for my status. The voice message that was left by the person in charge for Registered Nurse loc. 112 said that applicants must pay $91 to CTS and $200 to Pearsonvue in order to have ATT. I already sent a $91 bankdraft to the CTS.

You will be paying the 200USD for NCSBN at pearson-vue. Once CTS approved your application you will be receiving an approval letter which indicates that you are allowed to take the NCLEX-RN exam. At that time you will register at Pearson-Vue (the one and only exam provider for NCLEX which is trusted by NCSBN). You will pay USD200 plus USD150 if you take the exam outside US.

Will I pay the Pearsonvue now even though there is still no update regarding my status? I am worried that they do not update my status online because I haven't paid the Pearsonvue. Thank you!

Hi Jerome ..I just want to ask if you already solved your problem regarding this fingerprint in Illinoi, I am also a applicant for RN in Illinoi but by endorsement from VERMONT. .but im still in the Philipines right now. I dont have problem about CES but this FP-NUR is giving me a headache...Please give me some info of what you did about this..thanks :) ..Thanks in advance especially to all you guys who contributed in this forum

Sure I emailed idfpr and they told me if our CES already has the CT-Nur and ED-Nur content, we won't need to send them anymore leave Part VII blank

hello everyone!!! my CGFNS-CES report was issued last week... right after i receive the notification of my report being issued, i called IDFPR and asked about what i need to do next. the rep told me to register to continental testing service and pay the $91 fee. so i did that. the same day, i scheduled my fingerprinting online and had it done the next day and mailed the receipt to CTS. then i registered to pearson vue and paid the $200 fee. now my question is what do i need to do next??? should i just wait for my ATT to come in the mail?

Hi jr859a, did you get your ATT yet? My CTS status says Approved, but I don't know what to do next. Should I wait for an approval letter before registering for Pearson Vue? Or Do I have to register first before getting a letter?
