Well, I took the big test today and it shut off at 100 questions. It was HARD, I swear some of those questions I have never seen before! I feel like I could have studied Valley a million more times and I still would not have been completely prepared. Hopefully I'll have the "C" in CRNA very soon!

awesome! :balloons: you are where i want to be in a few years. i will be graduating in may with my bsn and have the goal of becoming a crna. i can't imagine what you must be feeling right now, but i am glad for you that it's over. when will you find out? also, where did you attend school and do you think it's feasible to do so with a family? i have two children, a very supportive husband, and great determination. i am a disciplined student, will be graduating with honors, and truly believe i will be successful in my desire to further my education.

If you felt you knew a few of the questions then I am almost certain you passed. The CRNA exam is more than generous before it fails you. I must have had 15-20 questions right from Valley on my test. We had a person in our class that took all the questions and failed, but just by one or two questions (you get the point breakdown if you fail). This guy was a total rock and I am really glad in his case there is CRNA supervision at his place of employment. He passed the second time with 100 questions. so I know you had to do well. We had are results back in 3-8 days so you should know quickly. Contrary to a myth the results do not show up on the AANA website before you get your results. Gee, it seems like yesterday that you were just starting 's ACE program and now you've taken your CRNA exam. Congrats on that long road and best wishes as you join the CRNA profession.

Will you still be in Philly area or are landing your hat elsewhere??? Any facility would be lucky to have you as staff!!

I also took the boards recently and had the 100 questions. I found out in 5 days that I passed. I'm sure you passed too. Just to clarify, I actually found out I passed by looking on the AANA website before I even knew my in-laws received my Fedex package. I did an online verification of certification and it popped up my info with CRNA after my name. A few hours later, my mother-in-law called to let me know the package came and read me the letter over the phone.

I remember you were applying...boy how times fly. I am sure you did fine and soon you will be sending an update about where you will be working and how well you did on the boards.

I am looking forward to getting there one day. Start school in 2.5 weeks!

Having read your progress through school, I am sure that you did well on your exam and will soon be a full fledged member of a great profession.

Like another poster, I too found out that I passed via the AANA credential verification page; however, my FedEx package did arrive later the same day.

As a full member of the club, please remember that every CRNA is your brother or sister and that all p u b l i c remarks about one another should be positive, I am positive that this will not be an issue with you.

Disparaging remarks about the intellect of a fellow CRNA does nothing but bring us all down. Certain "rocks" earned the same degree, passed the same certification, and call themselves CRNA, just the same as those who are intellectually superior to "rocks." Opinions are one thing but public denigration of a colleague is another.

CRNAs are the tip of the spear with regards to the public and medical communities perception of Advanced Practice Nurses and as such, we should encourage each other to be the best practitioners, act as role models to fellow nurses, and set the standard for professionalism in healthcare.
